Pipe Conveyor Systems are transportation systems used to transport all kinds of bulk materials, powdered materials or any liquid material through a spherical tubular shaped conveyor. A pipe conveyor system is modern, efficient and is a proven solution to numerous problems associated with the conventional conveyor systems such as spillage of materials between loading and discharge points, challenges faced in transport of material on steep inclined or decline, curves, etc. Thus, this system has overcome all such challenges and is considered to be an environment friendly transport system.

This system is helpful in transporting almost all kinds of materials efficiently without any loss of material. The points where the loading and discharge of materials takes place are similar to the open troughed conveyors. In conventional conveyor systems, a flat conveyor belt was provided on which material used to spill at various places between the loading and discharge points. In pipe conveyor system, at some distance from the loading point, the conveyor belt is transformed into its typical tubular shape with the help of special idler arrangements over a certain distance and finally is led through idler panels with hexagonal cut outs and offset idler arrangement. At the discharging point, this piped conveyor belt opens up automatically after passing through the final idler panel and discharges the material to the destination or transfers it on next conveyor system. Due to the conveyor belt’s spherical or tubular shape, this system is able to manage the vertical or horizontal curved sections as well as any steep inclination or declines in the transportation route.
