Definition - What does Gas Separator mean?
A Gas Separator is a vessel used to separate gas and liquid components from the fluids extracted from an oil well. Oil, gas or water can be removed from the fluids. It can also be defined as a separator which separates a fluid into its constituent components. It is a capital industrial tool used on onshore or offshore wellhead platforms and in the refineries. It is also known as a stage separator, oil & gas separator or simply separator.
